Music Time

Music time sessions include a variety of activities supporting musical, creative, and social interaction, using instruments, voice, breath, and movement. All the instruments and props used in the sessions are selected to be accessible to play and allow for exploration of different sounds and tactile experiences. Instruments typically used are handheld percussion instruments such as handbells, tambourines, cabasas, rainsticks, shakers, windchimes, and different types of drums. The sessions are tailored to suit diverse age ranges and levels of development and each person’s unique contribution is valued positively. The sessions offer a relaxed yet stimulating space, and provide an engaging way for being part of a shared musical experience.
